Nipsey Hussle – I Don’t Stress

Nispsey’s new offering for Marathon Monday is by far one of my favorites to date. The track is everything I look for in real music. It’s retrospective, personal and it gives fans something to digest.

These great tracks will definitely hold us all until Nipsey drops his next project.

Ty Dolla $ign Feat. Big TC – No Justice

With all this bullshit coming to the surface this last couple months many artists have taken a stand the best way they know how.

This nonsense has sadly become regular and I personally am no longer surprised at the  way people of color are treated throughout this country. But even with all this darkness there are still many who have faith that with the right push this country will finally see the light.

And to me the song above above embodies that message. Take a listen Big TC and his brother Ty Dolla $ign sing for change.

Hardo – Represent

Since his release from incarceration last year Hardo has proven his talent and has taken full advantage of his position. Listen to the Pittsburgh native’s attention catching tone as he breaks down what he stands for.

Curren$y Presents ‘Weed & Instrumentals 2’

Another audio dope shipment has arrived with the release of Weed & Instrumentals 2. Artists at Curren$y’s level would usually wait years to drop the sequel to one of their projects but for the Jet Life leader a few months is sufficient.

This 25 track tape proves that REAL grind and talent makes for magic instead of what some would call over saturation. I hope he keeps them coming!

ScHool Q Releases The Third Installment Of His ‘Blank Face LP’ Short Film

With the release of his sophomore album on Friday, Schoolboy Q takes one of the standout tracks Black THoughts and uses it as the basis for part 3 of his short film which helped fans prepare for last weeks release.

The excellent short piece shows Q dealing with the consequences of his actions and showing the world the true cost of street life and individuals it hurts the most.

Check out part 1-3 below and cop his new album available now.

Curren$y X Wiz Khalifa – Situations

Yesterday this timeless duo delivered another memorable track. The new song named Situations puts a spin on the classic Usher hit You Don’t Have To Call, as the two add their trademark affection for trees on the smooth beat.

It looks like it will end up on their upcoming project 2009, enjoy above.

Warm Brew – The Mission

Randomly coming across good music that I had no idea about is sometimes the best form of discovery.

Warm Brew are three Cali vets who have been putting out music for years, lacing dope beats with awesome lyrics with an undeniable West Coast vibe.

Recently they pooped up on my radar with the release of the visual for their new song The Mission. As soon as the song began I knew I stumbled upon a group I would keep in my playlist permanently.

Enjoy Above.
